  • How do I apply for the 300SL Classic?

  • Do I need to pay a deposit?

    Yes, a $2,500 deposit is due at the time you submit your application.

  • What cars are considered eligible to apply?

    Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Coupes “Gullwings” (1954-1957), Roadsters (1957-1963), and SLSs (2010-2015) are eligible for the 300 SL Classic.

  • What is the cost to enter the rally?

    The entry fee for the 2026 300 SL Classic is $11,500 and includes all meals and double occupancy lodging for the driver and co-driver starting from the hotel stay Sunday evening October 11 through and including Friday evening, October 16 (a Saturday October 17 departure.)

  • Are there additional costs?

    Additional Room - $3,500

    Double Occupancy (2 people, 1 room) - $9,000

    Single Occupancy (1 person, 1 room) - $7,000

  • Is there an age requirement to attend?

    Yes, participants must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Where does the event start/finish?

    The 2026 300 SL Classic starts and ends in Healdsburg, California.

  • Which airport should I fly into?

    The closest airport is in Santa Rosa. (OFFICIAL NAME)

  • Can I bring my own mechanic?

    The 300 SL Classic travels with the support team from the Mercedes-Benz Classic VCenter as well as 300 SL expert technician Robert Webster from 198 Werks.  A limited number of private crews MIGHT be accepted after review by the Eligibility Committee.

  • Can I leave a rental car at the hotel in Healdsburg?

    Yes, we can accommodate a few rental cars at the Hotel Healdsburg.

  • Will I be able to park my truck/trailer in Healdsburg for the week?

    Yes, more information on the location for storing trucks and trailers will be available once you are accepted.

  • What do we do with our luggage during the event?

    No need to pack lightly. We travel with a UHaul Luggage Truck and 2 luggage handlers so all your luggage needs will be serviced. Drop your bags off in the morning and they will be waiting for you when you arrive.

  • Is there covered parking each night of the event?

    No, neither hotel on the rally has covered parking.
